Mr. Norris is one of our two assistant principals here at the Garfield Middle School. He has been teaching Mathematics at Garfield Middle School for 18 years before moving into administration. He is a National Board Certified Teacher with a B.S. in Mathematics Education from Salem State College, a M.Ed in Middle School Mathematics Education from Lesley University, and CAGS in School Leadership from Salem State University.  He believes that all students can find success and creating a safe, welcoming environment that students want to be in is the key to successful learners. He is excited to work with the GMS students in his new role as Assistant Principal.

Ms. Kennedy is one of our two assistant principals here at the Garfield Middle School. She has been in the Revere Public Schools for over 14 years beginning as a middle school Social Studies teacher and moving on to administration.  She has a BA in Social Studies/Education and MA in European History from Providence College and CAGS in School Leadership from Salem State University.  She strives to create a supportive learning environment which encourages all students to take risks to reach their own academic, social, and emotional goals.  She believes positive relationships with the students and families are important in building a foundation for student success.

Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Corchado is our administrative assistant here at the Garfield Middle School. She is here to provide secretarial support to GMS personnel. As well as, communicate information to staff, the public, and other districts regarding Garfield Middle School. And to provide information and/or direction as may be requested by the parents/guardians of our GMS students.
